Michael was a great host. He was very responsive to questions. We had a power outage early in the morning but Michael responded quickly with some troubleshooting instructions. It turned out to be a utility power outage and was restored in an hour.

Our vacation landed on a week of some of the coldest weather and snow every day. Our car initially got stuck in the snow the first night but Michael was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole trip. We got stuck a few more times in snow and ice but there were always incredibly friendly locals willing to help us! Definitely need 4WD if going during snowy/icy conditions. The place itself was homey and private. We had a wonderful time! We got to ski at Beech mountain three of the days which was a blast!
